Acrylic paints on 48" x 36" unprimed canvas with burned canvas collage. The composition is inspired by the forms brought about by the controlled burning of canvas fragments, which are incorporated as collage elements in the finished work. The muted colors are juxtaposed with the playful iridescent paint, which interacts playfully with the light.
